DM Nitish Kumar gave instructions to the officials a week ago to increase the pace of development in the city. He asked to get the trapped NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the concerned department. The officers were instructed to increase the speed of work in any case.

Despite this, the construction work is still pending due to the non-receipt of NOC. So far, the NOC has been able to get the forest department only to construct an overbridge on the satellite Tirahe. At the same time, the movement to build overbridge at IVRI crossing is visible.

Lalfatak Overbridge: In March 2014, the government approved the overbridge at Lalfatak railway crossing. The construction of the bridge is to be acquired for about 65 hundred square meters of army land towards the cant.

The construction of the bridge started in July 2017 from the Kandharpur market. About 55 percent of the construction work has been completed from that side. Here, the Army's NOC has not been found so far, due to which work is not being started.

The government approved the three-lane overbridge at the Chaupula intersection in October 2018. There are projects worth about 60 crores. When the Setu Nigam started construction of the service lane in March 2019, the forest department stopped the work due to the forest being protected land. After that, the corporation got the piling done towards Ayub Khan Road and Police Lines.

Now the work of piling towards Marinath has been started, but so far, no NOC of Forest Department has been received. Badaun, a branch bridge, has to pass over the police lines. The police department objected to this. Its NOC has also not been given by the police headquarters so far.

The overbridge at the IVRI railway crossing was approved. For this, the government had approved a budget of Rs 38 crore.

The Railways had to spend about ten crore rupees and Setu Nigam Rs 28 crore. Its estimate was revised in July 2018. The railway also added two underpasses.

The railway has been estimated at Rs 19 crore on this. Setu Nigam also increased the estimate by about seven crores. Setu Nigam completed its work almost six months ago. Here, the railway has also come into action. Garters have been placed on the spot. Soon the bridgework will start by placing the guard up.
